Cafe Restaurant Köbke in Ratzeburg

Hello Mr. Bassalay, I have been waiting for this review for a long time and now I would like to give my opinion on this incident! Your behavior towards the staff and the guests was presumptuous and in no way justified! They forced guests to make a statement about their allegedly broken pants and defied the pronounced house ban !!! We as guests felt annoyed by you and disturbed in our peace! Thanks to the intervention of a young man (very knowledgeable about law), your theater could be ended! The hole in your pants also seems questionable to me, since you only came back after a quarter of an hour and the hole was simply not to be found! Furthermore, you have been informed several times that the boss is not in the house! At times I had the feeling that it was "the hidden camera"! With all goodwill, but the behavior of you and your wife was nothing! An understanding on your part and an apology would put a happy end to it all! I can only say that the staff was very competent and friendly and we felt good! Keep up the good work and hang on in this difficult time !!!

We were there on a beautiful October day. Very nice location and delicious food. But unfortunately a totally stressed and unfriendly service (as can be read in many other reviews). When we came, tables were being rearranged. When asked how long it would take (otherwise we would have gone for a long walk), we got the answer in a sloppy tone: "It will take as long as it takes". Mhh. Unfortunately we stayed. Unfortunately the tea glass was smeared with lipstick. And that in corona times. I hope that the hygiene in the kitchen is better. Last but not least, I tore my pants on a 10 cm long pointed metal thorn that protruded from several parasols. But nobody was interested in that either. Even the owner didn't come out and look at this spies. The thorn is approximately at head height of young children. But it wasn't of interest to the operator. They will probably also say to the mothers of injured children, "You have to prove that this happened first", just like with us. Too bad.

Great location on the lake, cozy with nice staff. Check opening times and relax.

Super tasty, and a nice staff (owner), and the location with a view of the lake is not to be sniffed at either. Therefore, full marks from us.

Salad with chicken and peanut sauce very fresh and spicy Pizza with egg, chorizo, parmesan a bit powerful but also great Pizza with prawns !!! Delicious!! Potatoes with sour cream and oil, classic and good. Great prospect, CFe Köbke couldn't do anything for the nice weather. Was great!!

Café in the best location on the lake, plus good food and nice staff

We drank coffee and ate cake there twice and had dinner once there. Each time it was delicious, well prepared and nice to look at. The service was friendly and courteous. Of course there are wasps there, as elsewhere, but it was limited. You just sit there very comfortably with a beautiful view and you can feel good.

Very nice terrace on the lake, small but fine menu, also for vegetarians. Salads and small baked potatoes with fish, delicious pizza. Very friendly service.

Very nice, right on Ratzeburg Lake. The food was also very good, only the wasps were numerous. Service very anticipatory and super nice.

Nice service, delicious food and a great view. Unfortunately not that many places, you have to be lucky in good weather. The way to the cathedral is even more beautiful with a stop at Café Köbke.

Very nice location on the water, eaten delicious sundae. If desired, only with two instead of three balls. Food offer according to the menu was very good.

We found the service very unfriendly. Snippy answers, groan when asked what kind of cake they offer. She was only able to overcome us with difficulty, at the request of tired hikers to spare us the way to the cake buffet, to name her manageable offer. Definitely cozy outside. Great location on the lake. Rather common indoors in rainy weather. Tea and cake were good.

Today we stopped again at Cafe Köbke and were again served the North German charm of the two ladies. Apart from the exceptionally beautiful terrace facing the lake, both ladies make every effort to meet all guests despite Corona. Before you have fulfilled some of the guests' wishes, it is not so easy. (Field potatoes not with strips of poultry but with double portions of mushrooms) Thanks at this point and see you next time. The food was great and the two ladies just great.

We just wanted to have a drink in this beautiful place Saturday evening after a very hot day. Unfortunately, of course, all tables were occupied or reserved. So we asked if we could just have a drink "on hand" and would then sit on the bank. The boss was very friendly and considerate. We were allowed to have our drinks and were given 3 free chairs, which we could then set up outside the garden on the side of the path. Despite the beautiful location, unfortunately very unfriendly, on our attempt to ask a question about a table in the half-empty restaurant. The answer came from the service staff: "I don't really have time". So another restaurant will get our money ... We went straight on, there is no need to support rudeness.

The food was very tasty and perfectly portioned and also cheap. The location on the lake and the pleasantly designed terrace are particularly beautiful. The staff was also very friendly and courteous. Just perfect!

Beautiful view and delicious coffee PLUS milk alternative (oats)! Definitely recommendable! Also: changing mat and handicapped accessible toilet.

Is very nicely located and the breakfast is really good. The food tastes delicious. The homemade dressing for the salad was great.
